Last August Colleen and Shawn got married at Bistro One West and Kristin and Doug were guests. Thus a warm introduction was established. It's always really nice working with people who are referrals from clients. I feel much more at ease meeting them knowing that most people have friends who are cut from the same cloth. And I really liked Colleen and Shawn.

Welp, I was right. Kristin and Doug were so great to work with- from our engagement session in Chicago this spring, all the way up to the wedding in July. They are calm and caring people. And I can see what great parents they are to their son, Noah.

I absolutely adore Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, IL as a wedding venue. It being a nursery is one thing, but they have this great outdoor space for ceremonies, as well, as this cozy indoor space for the party afterward.
